First Post

My first post.  I will be very humbled by anyone and everyone who chooses to follow this journey and participate in it should you be going through the same thing.  I'm hoping this can be a place where we can laugh a lot and cry a little - I'm not there yet but with time I'm hoping to get there sooner rather than later.  For my own selfish reasons - and at this point I think I'm entitled to be a little selfish - is to help the grieving process of a life once lived - our life before the devastating diagnosis.  Yes, to me it is still devastating and raw.  I hear it gets easier with time and I guess I'm just going to have to trust the process and fake it till I make it.
